We’ve Got Them Back In Stock!
It’s been a while and they’ve been hard to get too, but eventually we’ve got the Bogner La Grange in stock. It’s been a while since they’ve been about so don’t miss out if you’re looking for one, and why wouldn’t you be?
Just some info below about the La Grange. Go check out some reviews and you’ll find a well loved, positively reviewed pedal.
If you’re looking for a superb version of a plexiglass in a pedal, then the La Grange deserves a serious look. The Bogner La Grange is designed to sound like the legendary British “Plexi” amplifier tones we all love, and that pretty much every legendary guitarist has played at one time or another. You get an array of controls and switches, including an independent foot-switchable boost, that help deliver decades of powerful and exciting Plexi tones.
The Bogner La Grange overdrive/boost guitar effects pedal has been designed to give you a super tweak-able amp-in-a-box. You get a standard set of controls to start the processor bringing out those famous Plexi tones, and then a row of mini-toggles above the knobs that allow you to dial the La Grange into your ideal, perfect tone. Further, a variable boost function is uniquely independently selectable to drive the pedal even harder, or push you amp’s front end. And it doesn’t stop there, the Bogner La Grange also boasts an expression pedal jack to control your gain levels in a whole more expressive way for a boost on the creative side too.
We all know that Bogner have made their name with outstanding amplifiers, now they’ve recently moved on to some insanely great pedals too. The Bogner La Grange is based off the iconic sound of an old black and gold Plexi tone. But even more specifically this pedal is based off of the sounds often used by Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top. By designing this pedal like an amplifier preamp it lets you get a lot closer to the sound of a cranked valve amp that you maybe thought possible from a pedal.
As always, all our pedals are run up and tested prior to be sent out, but as we’re an online shop only, none of our products are demoed in a shop. So you get a pristine, fresh but tested pedal to your door. And this one is up there as one of our favourites.
The La Grange takes a battery if that’s your thing, but we’d suggest a good power supply (check our our article on whether you should daisy chain power or not) as it doesn’t come with one, or head over to our shop and check out the Bogner La Grange for yourself.
