Growing The Range With Wampler - stack of Wampler Pedals

We’re growing our range with Wampler this week. We’ve just received a few awesome new Wampler pedals (we’ll get them on the shop asap).

Wampler have an amazing reputation for solid, versatile, and easy to use pedals. These three (the Ratsbane, Ego compressor, and Gearbox overdrive/distortion) are part of that legacy, but the Gearbox (designed with the legend that is Andy Wood) in particular is a really versatile monster and falls squarely into the ‘exceptional’ bracket. Known especially for their drive pedals (though to ignore their other pedals would be a mistake), here, Brian Wampler brings together the legendary Tumnus with one of Wampler’s most popular distortion, the Pinnacle, for that awesome ‘brown’ sound.

What we love is you can change the order these two pedals stack in via the little toggle on the top right. Further you can just select to run one of the pedals without the other for great flexibility.

Plus you get a powerful 3 band eq (bass, mids, treble), that lets you shape your tone for your needs, plus the built in noise gates helps keep the clarity on-point.

Stack both channels together for tonal bliss – warm, yet brutal grunt; delicate and controllable harmonic overtones; beautifully defined distortion that cuts through the mix.

If you’ve not given Wampler much of your time, maybe it’s time to change that view. Check out their reputation online, we’re sure you’ll find a great pedal in their range that’s right for you. They’re built to last forever and built in the USA.
