Jam Pedals Delay Llama Mk3

The Jam Pedals Delay Llama is a tone machine that will become an indispensable part of your sound. It adds warmth and depth through organic repeats which seamlessly integrate into your playing and tone, thanks to its Bucket Brigade (BBD) chips. These chips are faithful reproductions of the classic Panasonic MN3205.

The Delay Llama has a straight-forward layout aimed at delay users who are looking to elegantly enhance their hard-earned guitar (or Bass guitar) tone, similarly to how a tape-echo machine would with no frills.

This Mk3 version expands on the utility value of this modern classic, while retaining the form factor and importantly the ease of use, by introducing a Tap Tempo with subdivisions (via a three way Toggle) and Hold  (self oscillation) functions. You can also set the bypass mode to trails (buffered) or true bypass! It’s truly a great analog delay.

The Jam Pedals Delay Llama Mk3 comes with 600ms maximum delay time and as mentioned, can also be used with bass guitars.

Inside are three trimmers to set the trails’ fade out time – accessed via the hole on the center of the top PCB and to set the maximum number of repeats.

Vintage Guitar gave it an approved gear award and Premier Guitar gave it a Premier Gear award.

And again, as with all Jam Pedals, you get a stunning looking package in a tough metal enclosure. Hand-made, hand-painted goodness.

What we love about Jam Pedals, apart from the great tone, is the attention to detail. Each pedal comes with a bag and pick that suits the pedal, they’re not generic to the brand. Does this little thing actually matter though? Only in as much as it shows a mindset, and indicates the attention to detail that goes on inside the enclosure too!
