So, additionally, all the connectivity of your pedal board is consolidated in this compact encolsure to make set up quick and easy. The buffer+ also has a very handy set of features that make life just a little better. Noise filters, input pads, switchable clean boost and input loading are all powerful tools available on the Empress Effects Buffer+
This little wonder has an all analogue signal path all placed into a strong, compact enclosure. The boost feature allows you to dial in uptown 30dB of clean boost (switchable via the foot switch). Hold that same foot switch and the buffer routes the signal to the tuner output. The noise filters defeat unwanted noise form the effects chain, and you can pad or boost the input by 3dB, an important tool to match outputs of different guitars, reducing really hot active pickup signal or boosting the signal to your effects to improve signal to noise ratio.
Finally you can ‘load’ down your pickups a little, a lot, or not at all and expedient with the feel and tone you get from your passive pickups using this feature. It’s the Buffer ‘+’ for a reason. We are an online store only, so your new pedal has never been demoed on a shop floor or been out on display. We do though test all pedals (and any power supplies where included with pedals) before we send them out to hopefully minimise any hassles of faulty pedals on delivery.
