Old Blood Noise BL-37 Reverb

The Old Blood Noise BL-37 Reverb is stunning new a pedal within the popular Old Blood Noise BL line of pedals. It features modulation at two points in the reverb trail to give a beautiful and so different feeling, wandering, lush reverb unlike any of the OBN reverbs, all with a thankfully simplified control set. The Clock slider in the middle of the unit is the key to its magic. Tis control moves the reverb from a quick, tile-bathroom echo effect right out to a dark, lo-fi-stretched reverb, unlike any space in existence.

Thanks to its simple but very intuitive and interactive control set, this modulated reverb can be quick and highly reflective, or slow and stretchy with nicely noticeable pitched undulations. It’s lush but also rings and is easily stretched out. Sometimes you’ll get a clear pitch bend, or at other times it can be washy and shimmering.

That clock slider is key to a lot of the Old Blood Noise BL-37 reverb power! It sets the timing of the entire system (in other words the sample rate that give signal fidelity, the timing of the reverb and the speed of the modulation within the reverb).

It’s a power tool for experimentation in a pedalboard friendly size.

Controls include:

• Clock to affect the timing of the entire system, moving from quick snappy reverb to long strange tails.

• Feedback to lengthen the decay of the reverb and increase the modulation character.

• Mix to set effect blend from 100% dry to 100% wet

• Volume to set overall volume

Oh, and you get a lovely soft-touch bypass footswitch for true bypass and minimal switch noise, which is always a bonus! And finally the beautiful artwork that graces this pedal is by Brandy M Patterson.
