The Jam Pedals Ripply Fall is a great example of how Jam have a design mindset to squeeze something extra out of all their effects. And this thing is going to inspire you.
Ripple Fall combines the Jam WaterFall and Ripple in to a, typically for Jam Pedals, stunning enclosure. From the WaterFall you get a smooth, lush-sounding Chorus / Vibrato pedal, featuring BBD chips, with 2 toggle- switches, one to select between chorus and vibrato modes, and another to switch to a “wetter” effect. Then the Ripple brings a Smooth, sweet and transparent 2-stage phaser pedal.
And Ripple Fall has been making ‘ripples’ (sorry couldn’t help myself) in the industry with Premier Guitar giving it their Premier Gear award. And it’s no surprise given its truly outstanding sound. And how it leads you there.
The middle footswitch on this stunner triples the at-any-given-point WaterFall Speed, generating sounds ranging all the way from Leslie speaker simulation, to ring modulator effects and up to deranged warble!
Oh yeah, and Jam Pedals Ripply Fall also has two, yep, two expression inputs for speed and also depth.
One of the toggles on the front also switches between a more discrete or more pronounced Waterfall modulation. Inside there’s also a trim pot to set the WaterFalls maximum speed.
What we love about Jam Pedals, apart from the great tone, is the attention to detail. Each pedal comes with a bag and pick that suits the pedal, they’re not generic to the brand. Does this little thing actually matter though? Only in as much as it shows a mindset, and indicates the attention to detail that goes on inside the enclosure too!
