Jam Pedals Wahcko Wah is one of those modern classics that come along from time to time. And, after years of appearing as a mainstay on many pros’ boards and earning its fair share of praise and awards, the Wahcko has now truly established itself as the most vocal, expressive and at the same time versatile wah pedal that’s out there.
You really must try this thing to understand that bold statement. But it’s not just the tone that’s bold, check out the simply stunning paint job! So what has this beauty got packing under the awesome exterior?
The Jam Pedals Wahcko Wah features a RED Fasel inductor, Carbon-Comp resistors, 6-position rotary switch for different frequency sweep range, and an internal trimmer for adjusting the input gain. Jam also packed in a bufferless proprietary circuit design that allows for impedance sensitive pedals, like germanium fuzz boxes to be placed after the Wahcko with no issues! This is something we really like and gives you access to different tonal experimentation.
And the current Wahcko pedals ship with an extra traditional rubber tread! Should that be more your thing.
As a useful tip: Use your Wahcko as a tone-shaping tool. Turn the Wahcko+ on, leave it at the toe-down position and experiment with the 6 different settings of the rotary switch. We think you’ll find many interesting tones for your lead or rhythm overdriven parts.
There are a ton of fantastic players using this brilliant Wah. Bill Frisell, John Scofield, Nile Rodgers, Richie Sambora, Neal Schon, Steve Lukather, Marc Ribot, Jonny Lang, Cesar Rosas, Dweezil Zappa, Greg Koch, Bernie Marsden, Julien Kasper, Kirk Fletcher, John Medeski, Sean Ono Lennon, Alex Skolnick, Oz Noy to name quite a few.
“The moment I played a Wahcko, the type of expression was undeniable. It was so human-like in a way that it just touched my soul.” Nile Rodgers
Guitarists Magazine called it “one of the best of it’s breed”
What we love about Jam Pedals, apart from the great tone, is the attention to detail. Each pedal comes with a bag and pick that suits the pedal, they’re not generic to the brand. Does this little thing actually matter though? Only in as much as it shows a mindset, and indicates the attention to detail that goes on inside the enclosure too!

We use recycled materials where possible for our packaging, and all our energy is from renewable sources. Check out our environmental page.
