£204.00
Building off of the lush, tonal landscapes that the Julia Analog Chorus/Vibrato created, The Walrus Audio Julianna is an all analog, digital LFO, stereo chorus/vibrato with new expanded features.
Out of stock
The Walrus Audio Julianna is an all analog, digital LFO, stereo (and mono) chorus/vibrato with new expanded features.
The Julianna can produce everything from mild smooth chorus, to properly seasick vibrato, and everything in between. Packed with familiar controls like Lag, Dry-Chorus-Vibrato Blend, and selectable LFO wave shapes are all still here, but the Walrus Audio Julianna employs some fantastic new tricks: The Secondary LFO speed, modulation drift, tap/expression control and momentary features will have you experiencing all kinds of sounds not found in a traditional chorus pedals.
The Julianna contains all of the same sounds and controls that the Julia has but adds in these deluxe features:
• Stereo In/Out Jacks: You can run mono in/mono out, mono in/stereo out, stereo in/stereo out.
• Tap Tempo Control: This sets the rate of the LFO using the Rate knob or the handy tap tempo footswitch.
• Drift Function: A great feature that allows you to gently speed up and slow down the LFO rate. This moves the Rate knob up and down for you. Click here to see the manual for full details.
• Momentary Secondary LFO Speed: Ramp up or slow down to a second LFO rate.
• Random LFO Shape: In addition to sine and triangle, Julianna adds a great random wave shape option to modulate the pitch of your signal.
• Tap Division: Select quarter note, quarter note triplet or eighth note multiplier to scale a tapped in tempo.
• Expression Control: Control Depth, Rate or both with an expression pedal.
Lag Control
Unlike most other chorus pedals, both the Julianna and Julia have a feature called Lag control. This control lets you set the centre delay time that the LFO modulates. You can go from smooth and tight modulation at lower settings, to a warbling detune at maximum setting. The Lag knob adds a new dimension to the traditional chorus/vibrato landscape for you to explore.
D-C-V Knob
The DCV control sets the ratio of dry to wet signal through the mono channel of the Walrus Audio Julianna. More traditional mono chorus sounds can be heard with the knob set straight up, around noon. Pitch vibrato is found in the full clockwise position and the ground in between offers unique blends of chorus and vibrato not usually found on other chorus pedals.
And it’s a Walrus Audio pedal; as always—while nothing to do with the tone—we appreciate the great looking artwork and design.
