The Jam Pedals TubeDreamer has a carefully tuned, added midrange frequency register, and it delivers warm and rich overdriven sound through any amp.
Jam also claim and we also hear a pivotal difference between the Tubedreamer and other Tubescreamers, is the choice to go with 3 diodes for asymmetrical clipping instead of symmetrical. What does this do? It enhances the responsiveness of the pedal to fretting and picking nuances. This gives you a responsive, dynamic instrument at your feet.
The Jam Pedals Tubedreamer employs the one and only, legendary JRC4558D chip to deliver its rightly popular classic sound—just like in the original, sought-after 808’s, but in this iteration it also introduces a wider gain range accessible by the high-gain-stage toggle-switch. A welcome addition.

We can’t agree more, I mean who can argue with Kirk Fletcher anyway? We think it’s one of the very best overdrives we’ve ever played.
What we love about Jam Pedals, apart from the great tone, is the attention to detail. Each pedal comes with a bag and pick that suits the pedal, they’re not generic to the brand. Does this little thing actually matter though? Only in as much as it shows a mindset, and indicates the attention to detail that goes on inside the enclosure too!

We are an online store only, so your new pedal has never been demoed on a shop floor or been out on display. We do though test all pedals (and any power supplies where included with pedals) before we send them out to hopefully minimise any hassles of faulty pedals on delivery.
